Another one for the vampires

Have added a couple more things to my Etsy shop. Firstly, this bracelet which I made because (a) I seem to have an overabundance of these turquoise miracle beads and (b) because a lot of people seemed to quite like the necklace I made for my grandmother (but that may have just been a case of people being people and choosing to take a most intense liking to the one item I've posted here that they can't have purely for the reason that they can't have it).

"The Dream"

I also seem to be answering a lot of questions with regards to the miracle beads. Whoever named them (in my opinion anyway) probably got a little carried away with themselves when they proclaimed them 'miracle beads', unless of course they have some sort of secret walking on water, restoring the dead to life or turning water into wine (or better yet turning kids toys into party drugs) -like properties that I am yet to discover. If my grandmother starts curing lepers and exorcising demons, I'll let you know.

Next up, some more disembodied neck pictures.

"Assassinated Beauty"

(this is the backwards picture... my skin came out a funny colour in the picture demonstrating what would probably be the most 'normal' manner in which a person would wear this piece and I don't really feel like spreading the image any further than is strictly necessary, it's in the shop listing, if you want to have a look (but please don't just go to gawk at all the fantastic colours which my skin is decidedly not)).

Which is a pretty dramatic name for a few beads threaded on a bit of fishing line, but over-the-top names for things seem to be all the rage lately... War on Inflation, anybody? (Treasurer: We need a snappy name for our new decreasing inflation policy so people think we're really getting in there and doing something about it. Prime Minister: hmm... why don't we call it The Very Serious Attempt To Decrease Inflation? Treasurer: no, I don't think that's quite catchy enough...)

"Assassinated Beauty" Choker

I'm thinking I might get some more beads and make myself one of these. So far I've come up with four different ways you can wear it - clasp to the front or back as a necklace or a bracelet (yes, I know that technically you can wear anything you want backwards or on the wrong body part, but the charm of this piece is that you can do both of those things and people won't stop to point at the weirdo whose wearing his underpants on his head and has his trousers on backwards).

Greatest fear at this point? Blog getting inundated by thousands of vampiric throat fetishists.
Next post aims to include a picture of me which demonstrates that I am in fact more than just a neck with a freckle on it.
