Off to the land of mountains and sheep!

It's amazing the things you find in suitcases left over from your last holiday. I wouldn't be surprised if someone hasn't dragged their battered old suitcase out of the cupboard to set off on their summer trip only to find their entire last winters wardrobe in there. It seems that there's a point in the unpacking stage where most people just go 'bugger all this for a lark!' and shove the suitcase back in the cupboard or under the bed with whatever tacky souvenirs may still be rattling around in the bottom of it.
Anyway, that really has nothing to do with anything much, except that this morning I finally found out what happened to all those gigantic safety pins I had at one point.

This time tomorrow I shall be in New Zealand. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will have found my way out of Christchurch International Airport without having had endured any sort of incident which is likely to get oneself on one of those 'Don't people act strangely when customs riffles through their underwear in front of a television camera crew?' shows. Hopefully a lot of things actually - the philosopher Senecca said that everybody should spend a bit of time at the beginning of each day thinking about all of the things that could possibly go wrong so you'd be prepared for them when they happen. Cheery fellow. I think my biggest risk for tomorrow is forgetting the 'no jokes about bombs on aeroplanes' rule.

Tally-ho! I hope to bore you all at some point with pictures of mountains and cathedrals. If you're feeling lonely with me gone, go and read my new shop announcement, there's potential there to be amused.
