Of mailboxes and vampires

Bet you all thought I'd died... again. Blogging seems to come in fits and starts for me - three days of dedicated updates followed by a fortnight of silence... but I suppose I can just write it off as my 'unique blogging style'. Another aspect of this particularly 'unique' style could possibly include the ability to write under the influence of feline death stares.

So... what exactly have I been up to? Well quite a number of Czech beads (ordered from America, of course) arrived in my mailbox (the one at the end of the driveway, not the electronic one currently full of cheap Rolex offers and marriage proposals from people in strange countries I've never heard of), so I've been quite busy industriously threading them onto bits of string.

This one is called Purity, because hell, it's white...

Right, have we all recovered from the shock of seeing something made by me consisting of absolutely no black or red whatsoever? (Hey, the white beads were on sale!) Never fear, the next instalment is a little more predictable:

And this... thing... well I haven't come up with an eloquent way to say 'extremely annoyingly difficult piece of jewellery' yet, but when I do... I'll be able to list it. Joy! Also another one for the weirdo vampiric throat fetishists out there. Google analytics tells me all about you... and about you too, people looking for pictures of men who are probably more in touch with their feminine side than my grandmother would approve of.

I get canine death stares. & when bored with the staring the yappin' commences. Pets think they rule the damn house. & sadly mine do.
